The Day I Quit
I read the book in two days. And I quit, as if I’d never smoked in my life.
The day I stopped, I wasn’t empty-handed. I still had cigarettes, and a lot of hashish, and joints. Everything was right there in front of me. And I stopped.
The next morning, I woke up and didn’t smoke. And I was happy.
When my friends found out I’d stopped, they were shocked in a strange way. They told me: “If you could quit, then anyone can quit.”
Because people had lost all hope in me.
Who it’s not for
This is the experience of someone who smoked and quit, not a doctor’s book. It is not a medical program, and it is not a detox plan.
If you also use alcohol, pills or other drugs, have a heart or mental-health condition, or expect a hard withdrawal, talk to a doctor before you stop — and see our Get help page for free, confidential helplines.
Questions
Is it only about weed?
No. I smoked kif (cannabis mixed with tobacco), hashish and cigarettes, every day, and I quit all three on the same day. If you smoke spliffs or joints rolled with tobacco, you’ll recognize yourself in it.
Is this a medical program?
No. It’s my lived experience, not medical advice. I’m not a doctor or a specialist.
If you use alcohol, pills or other drugs too, have a heart or mental-health condition, or feel strong anxiety or sadness after stopping, see a doctor. There’s no shame in it.
How is it delivered? Is the purchase discreet?
It’s a PDF of about 40 pages, sold and delivered by Gumroad. Right after payment you get a download link on screen and by email, and you can read it on a phone, tablet or computer.
The payment is processed by Gumroad, which handles the card details — this site never sees them. The Gumroad receipt email does include the book’s title.
Is it the same as Allen Carr’s book?
No. This is my story and the things that worked for me. Allen Carr’s book is the one that helped me quit; I credit it inside and recommend reading it. The two complete each other.
What if it’s not for me?
You have 14 days to ask for a refund, no questions asked. Just reply to your Gumroad receipt email.

Be done with it.
